My name is Alex Miller, I've been blowing glass for about 10 years now. I first started when I was in high school, taking a hot shop class at a local studio. I made a few vases and was hooked! I loved how I was ALLOWED to play with fire. What a cool experience it was to take something solid make it liquid and watch it go back again. After that the shed behind our house was covered into a lampworking studio and I got to work. what was a hobby is now my career! Now I'm living and working around Deep Creek Lake, Maryland.
